 The day before 

Do you want to make a great impression with your headshots? Then, it's important to prioritize your well-being. Getting a good night's sleep and staying hydrated are the keys to looking your best. Also, consider the roles you want to pursue and use subtle expressions during your session but most of all be you. You're investing in yourself, so make the most of it. Don't risk spoiling your chance to shine by going out the night before. Remember, your headshot is your calling card and it may open doors to new opportunities. 

On the day 

When it comes to getting your photo taken, being flustered and stressed is the last thing you want. That's why I recommend giving yourself plenty of time to get to the studio and settle in before your session. As someone, who understands how daunting it can be to sit for a photo, I make sure that every session is relaxed and easy-going. To set the tone, we'll connect to my Bluetooth speaker and play some of your favorite tunes to help you feel at ease. We'll also take some time to chat over coffee or tea while we look through your clothing options. Just make sure your clothes are as uncreased as possible. If they need to be steamed, I have a small steamer available, but please note that I'm not responsible for any damage.
When you book a session with me, you'll have my undivided attention. I only book a maximum of 2 sessions per day, so you'll have plenty of time to refresh your makeup etc and prepare for each look before we start. If you've booked a session with multiple wardrobe changes, you'll have ample time to relax and check out the images we've captured so far in between set changes.
During the shoot, I won't direct you too much, I prefer to let things flow naturally to bring out your personality. If I notice any minor adjustments that could enhance the results, I'll inform you, but I won't be overly assertive. We'll shoot tethered, meaning you can view the images in real-time on a laptop to ensure we're capturing the desired look.

After the session 

After our shoot, we'll quickly review the images together, but we won't rush the most important decision - choosing your final headshots. I will  send over the images to you within 36 hours. This way, you can take the time to study them in your own time, without any pressure. I understand that it's essential to choose the best headshots to represent you, so i want to make sure that you're 100% satisfied with your selection. You can even share the images with your agent or industry friends to get their input before making your final decision. The low-resolution images will be sent to your email via WeTransfer, allowing you to see expressions, emotions, and composition. Once you've selected your favourite shots, I will edit those and send them back in high resolution and appropriately cropped. The number of images you'll receive will depend on the package you choose. I want you to have the best headshots possible, and I am here to help you every step of the way!
